What comics do you read regularly and what are your all-time favorites?

My current monthly reads include: American Vampire, Astro City, Scott Snyder's Batman, Chew, Daredevil, East of West, Fatale, Hawkeye, Lazarus, Marvel's current Miracleman reprints, Private Eye, Revival, Saga, Sandman: Overture (whenever it theoretically comes out), The Unwritten, Velvet, The Wake, The Wicked + The Divine, and Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang's Wonder Woman. I'm always on the look out for new stuff, though. Some recent and all-time favorites include: Asterios Polyp, Brian Michael Bendis’s Daredevil run, Box Office Poison, Criminal, EC’s science fiction books, Ex Machina, From Hell, Grant Morrison’s Batman run, Habibi, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Sandman, and Y: The Last Man.

What writers and artists are you a fan of?

I really enjoy the work of Alan Moore, Alison Bechdel, Brian K. Vaughan, Ed Brubaker, Gail Simone, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Jason Aaron, Joe Hill, Kieron Gillen, Matt Fraction, Mark Waid, Scott Snyder, and Will Eisner (among others).

What titles do you want to read in the future?

Ugh! Another list?! I'm excited to read Scott O'Malley's "Seconds", and Paul Pope's "Aurora West" later this year.

Introduction

I live in Bushwick. I work for a tutoring company in Midtown. I like bicycles, comics, television, films, trivia, NPR, live comedy, Britpop, and video/board games even though I'm awful at most. Despite the previous sentence, I'm totally not a virgin.
