“ I think it's great, that so people are willing to give their time. I am a volunteer I protest A PET STORE in the Chelsea area of Manhattan. Our point is to make people aware of what goes on in the PUPPY MILL industry. It is a harsh industry where DOGS, BREEDING MOTHERS BREED FOR A LIFETIME WITHOUT STOP in FRIDGID WEATHER, HOT WEATHER 24/7 NEVER TO COME IN FROM THE ELEMENTS, NO VET CARE, TOYS, EXERCICE, CONFINED IN A VERY SMALL CAGE. THAT IS THEIR DESTINY, UNFORTUNATELY. 97% of the time our PUPPIES are from PUPPY MILLS, That is why many people wind up with ill PUPPIES due to the conditions at PUPPY MILLS. Please go to "PRISIONERS OF GREED" WEBSITE or any PUPPY MILL SITE. Do you know of anyone who had a bad experience, let of know. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS. We will supply the posters. Go to MEETUP CITI PUPS/PUPPY STORE SILENT PROTEST for info. Thanks E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org click on our calendar to get dates of PROTESTS. THANKS! ”

“ A wonderful place to meet wonderful people. Is your child autistic ? Does your child have a developmental delay or intellectual impairment? Has your child a speech difficulty? Support from the parents can help children. Speech problems can be treated. Parents can use these 3 easy steps 1- You can record the sounds made by your son. You record the phonetic sample. Record the children in their natural environments during the course of a day. The recorder can be used at home 2- Send the sounds to us. You can use an email. 3- We analyze the sounds using computer programs. For Information email@example.com ”

“ I think the organization could have been better prepared, although, there was a larger number of people than expected at first. Better planning. ”
— Bobby L. on Dec 27, 2011.
“ I think it would help if we had name tags and maybe some ice breakers so that folks can better meet each other. The folks I met were friendly except for the nyc social group meetup member who insulted me at the event by saying I looked and dressed like a man, and therefore also assumed I liked women. As a heterosexual, I support the LGBT community and also found this comment to be insulting towards them. ”
— Ana on Dec 14, 2011.
“ The group leader of this event gave me a my friend a very poor impression of the Group meet up. If you are a member be ready to be bossed around if a special leader is in charge of the volunteer and get little support. I have volunteered for many groups in the past 15 years and never shown this little respect for giving up my time for no pay. ”

“ Parks receive less than 1% of annual City budget. Its important to give back, especially in sweat equity to these natural public areas, for now & future generations. ”
— Mike A. on May 23, 2010.
“ Now more than ever in these current fiscal times with less than 1% of the annual New York City budget is allocated to Parks. Its so very important to encourage people of all ages to volunteer in maintaining green spaces. ”
