Sorry

Once again, I'm extremely sorry that I could not make it to the July 3 game. I didn't realize until it was too late that I was in schedule hell and couldn't make it. This was completely my fault and I have since changed my schedule to make sure something like that doesn't happen again.

If you feel that I should not be in this group, that is perfectly understandable and I will leave if requested to.

Once again, I am extremely sorry and wish I could have come.

I would be perfectly happy to DM (again?) in an evening game. I have decided not to come to morning/afternoon games anymore.

Nobody's going to ask you to leave the group for a simple missed day, Douglas. At least, I'm not, and since I'm probably one of the stricter organizers from what I gather, I'm pretty certain nobody else will do anything as drastic as ask you to leave the group either.

Try to RSVP your cancellation in earlier next time, that's all. If you can't do it next time, well, we'll figure something out then; I'm sure we wouldn't ask you to leave the group even then either.
