Whether you're a newbie wanting to know more, an experienced player looking for a regular game, a DM on the look out for new players, or you fancy playing a fun one-shot adventure on a Sunday afternoon, this meetup will be place to be?! Expect to come and play from noon to 5pm. We'll teach you everything you need to know and supply all the dice etc. All you need to bring is imagination!

It takes 34 minutes to get to the location on the Q train from Union Square. The B train doesn't run on weekends.

Rules for the meetup:
This location does not allow outside food. They sell snacks though.

If you're new: You might not get a spot to play unless you read the rules! Please read the "How It Works" on the message board.

If you're a DM: RSVP and describe the game you want to run on this meetup's page. List how many players you will take. Say what is expected of players (make characters, etc).

Players: RSVP and give a preference to what DM's game you would like to play in, or if you'd just like to hang out, state that. At the meetup, spots at gaming tables will be held 30 min. for the first X people who RSVP'd. If you RSVP with a specific DM's name you will get preference for that DM's game over a generic RSVP.

I'm definitely prepared to run the level 1 game, and we have 3 players already (James, Andrew, Barnum) so feel free to sign up last minute.

Looking like I won't make it, unfortunately. I changed my RSVP to "no" to be safe. Sorry.

Yeah it should be fun. I just finished working on the encounters. Guys, this is a really nice challenge for level 1. If we don't get enough signups, it's not going to happen!

Sounds cool, Volker! I will attend tomorrow if I'm able, and I'll play in your game.

Hey everyone, my father's day plans have changed and I unfortunately will have to drop out of this Sunday's game. I look forward to seeing everyone in the Brooklyn contingent sometime later in the summer.

Keep in mind: The B train is not running on the weekends, so you need to take the Q. Allow at least 45 minutes travel time from Manhattan so we can start on time.

This game is perfect for beginners! We will help explaining the rules and make sure you have a good experience. I can provide pre-generated characters - please tell me in advance if you need one.

I need at least 3 definitive RSVP's, otherwise I won't make the trek from Queens to Brooklyn! :)

It's going to be a level 1 adventure. Please use the official character builder. All sources are allowed, including playtests and Eberron. The software is free to use for level 1-3! Make sure to "equip" your items, for example armor, otherwise the AC will not increase. You have 100gp to spend! I can take up to 6 players. Please post your race/class on this board. Any interest in me DM'ing a low level game, non RPGA?
  • Posted Jun 16, 2009 3:41 PM
Nick, I'd be okay playing any of those mods. I'm thinking about starting a new character, so any mod would be open.

I'll be running CORE1-2 on this day. Judging from the attendance sheet people who can't do CORM1-1 should be able to do CORE1-2. So it should all work out

I have posted the descriptions to the file section and hope to hear from you all.

I will give Walk a preference in the voting for the number of times he has DMed for us. And for those who are playing RPGA for the first time I will check the files section and see if there are descriptions of the mods so you can select the storyline that sounds most appealing to you and we can do this in the most democratic way possible. I hope this is fair enough for everyone.

Hi Kent, that is why I am asking CORM1-1 (like DALE 1-1) get played a lot because of the nice weapon in the treasure. I would like to run it for Walk since I assume his character may not have one and he has DMed DALE 1-1. I will do this. I am offering AKAN 1-1, BALD 1-1 or CORM 1-1. I would like everyone who is playing at my table to please vote for one mod from the three (I already scheduled the event because I am busy and want to be sure to read them thoroughly.)
