All day Living Forgotten Realms RPGA meetup. DMs wanted. RSVP with what specific time slots you can make, what adventures you are willing to DM, what characters you want to play, and what adventure codes you want to play.

Note - This is for Living Forgotten Realms. If you don't know specifically what "Living" Forgotten Realms is, there's more information here. Please do not RSVP unless you know what Living Forgotten Realms is.

Please make sure to mention WHICH SPECIFIC SLOTS you can attend. If you don't, I'll be sure to leave you off the list - Jim

Please read the way our RSVP priority works. Link Here People who DM get priority.

Games as of 7/2:

9AM-1PM
DMs (3): Andrew, Douglas, Jim
Players (5): AndySAE, David Abrahams, Shaun H, Leor Blumenthal, Sam

1PM-5PM
DMs (3): Douglas, Jim, Shaun H
Players (8): AndySAE, David Abrahams, Andrew, Gary D, Dave J, Sam, Matt, Johnny

5PM-9PM
DMs (2): Douglas, David Abrahams
Players (7): AndySAE, Rob R, Jim, Dave J, Sam, Matt, Johnny

Note - the level 4-7 Living Forgotten Realms "My Realms" adventure I'll be running, "Escape from the Big Rock Candy Mountain", will be THREE quick adventures. I think I might be able to run them ALL in about five hours; I can bring another adventure to fill out the second slot in case there's time. There need to be enough players with level 4+ characters to fill the table, though.

Note 2 - by request, I'll be DMing a FAST game of AGLA1-1 (a level 1-4 adventure) first thing in the morning. Also, that adventure might help level 3 characters to hit 4th level so they can play "Escape from the Big Rock Candy Mountain".

I will try to find another time where I might be able to DM. Sorry again!
  • Posted Jul 3, 2009 12:02 PM
Well, since no Douglas Pope = no CORM1-3, I will not be showing up for the 3rd slot. Have fun guys.

I'm very sorry that I couldn't come. I had a packed schedule and didn't realize that I had so much real-life stuff going on that I couldn't play today. By the time I realized it, it was too late. Once again, I am deeply sorry for not being able to come.

Rain of Blows... Couldn't they wait till I'd reached 4th and had my fun with it for a LITTLE while... oh well
  • Posted Jul 2, 2009 11:23 PM
Hahaha, yeah. "We removed these powers because they are uber sweet. Now cry yourself to sleep." Question is, what's going to be nerfed next? My money's on the Polearm Gamble and the Garl Glittergold Channel Divinity feat, Or maybe they'll nerf the elven and deva racial powers, or give humans +2 to any two different ability scores . . . that sure would even things up a bit.

I'm so glad they fixed Rain of Blows. I had a major problem with that power. They removed the STR bonus to damage and changed it to three attacks maximum.

They even added explanations to why they did it WOW! This is their explanation for changing battlerage vigor "Explanation: The first two paragraphs of original text were removed because they allowed the battlerager to gain excessive temporary hit points and thus ignore most standard monster attacks and all minion attacks."

Thanks Doug. The July errata is great! Almost like Wizards is listening....almost.

Gary, there will quite probably be room for you in slot 1.

I RSVPed to slots 1 and 2. Is there room for me in slot 1? Right now I have Invoker 3, Warden 2. The invoker can't make it to 4 tomorrow.

I would note that the Errata for July is up. Low level fighters, warlords, and RRoT all get hit.

My only character is a level 2 tiefling rogue, so...

Not sure when anything is being played, but if there's no E from LRCM in the AM, then I would love to play BALD 1-1 with a Fighter2.

If not enough people show up for the 9-1 adventure, I might play instead of DM for that session.

Sorry, I use the word 'roll' interchangeably. I'll pre-make a character then. Thanks!

Michael: "rolling" a character is not allowed, you have to use point-buy for your stats. It's better to make a character beforehand. Please read all the links we provided on how the RPGA works.

I put this in my reservation but: I can be there for slots 1 & 2, maybe 3. I don't have a character and have never really done this before, but am looking to get into it. Can I roll one there or should I bring one?
  • Posted Jul 2, 2009 10:40 AM
I'll DM a fast game of AGLA1-1 in the early morning, possibly level some characters to 4.

BALD 1-1 sounds great at the 5-9 slot. I am still, of course, very much looking forward to "Escape from Little Rock Candy Mountain" in the AM.

    •  Escape from Big Rock Candy Mountain was a blast. My players were good fun for Dale 1-1 and tossing out the Drow Druid for a short game was an entertaining diversion from my usual characters.
    •  I was only there for the first slot, but Jim ran some very fun and fast paced adventures, including his MYRealms adventure, Candy Rock Mountain. We didn't have enough players for two tables in the first slot, which meant some players had to sit out until the second slot.
