Bring the minis you want to get rid of. Have an idea of what minis you want. We do trading and plain selling/buying. Make a price list if possible. Check out market prices on google shopping if you want to sell, or have an idea of what you would like to buy. Perhaps post special requests here or on the board.

It's taking place before the RPGA meetup.

I'll be there to trade minis, but it looks like I have to attend a co-op board meeting at 8 (damn city living) so I won't be able to game afterwards. Hopefully I'll get some players tomorrow evening.

Allright, I'll bring a Half-Orc Thaneborn Barbarian, with level appropriate items I presume.

I have time until around 9:45 pm - would you be willing to DM? Or we make skirmishing games up, 2 monster gangs with the same experience point budget. I can bring a pre-printed battle map, just like the old miniature game, but with 4E combat rules.

Maybe those of us who don't do RPGA can have a game after the trade, since we'll be there already. Anyone up for that?

OK so we have Brad, Lady Mykele and myself who will bring a lot of minis, monsters and heroes alike. It should be great. Anyone who will bring a large collection please announce it here.

This is not going to be bazaar style. It's very laid back and probably over in less than 30 minutes.

Last time we were at the Citi center, We had a guard ask us if we were playing for money. So if you guys start exchanging money for these minis in plain view we might all get in trouble.

Looks like we have 3 main demand groups: a) Players looking for certain hero figures, b) DM's trying to find either certain rare solos or exotic monsters, like dragons, and b) DM's looking for minion/gang material (orcs, kobolds etc.). The latter demand is the most difficult to satisfy I believe. If you have any slaughterfest material flying around, not necessarily official D&D minis, by all means, please come!

Definitely bring your list(s) so I remember what you need. My goal is to get more minis I can use as a DM, so I'm most interested in trading away rares for multiple uncommons/commons. J

Changed the time to 6pm. The trading won't take a lot of time, I'm sure. We should be done in 30 minutes max. I'll evaluate at some point whether we have enough "suppliers" to make the effort worthwhile.

    •  Brad came to party. Otherwise, a lot of items advertised did not make it to the show, so that was a little disappointing. All in all a positive...
    •  It was OK, but for trading to work best more attendees would be better. Also: Don't just bring common and uncommon figures. Those everyone usually has. You only get the good rares if you are willing to let go of some of yours.
    •  Everyone came away happy...lots of good trades all around.
