Special Event Module Description: Weekend in the realm is a global event organized by local volunteers to get together and play. It has a special introductory module that come with pre-generated characters to ease the learning curve of first time players. So new players can come empty handed to give it a roll. To make it interesting for veterans, the module also give the players a free level 3 magic item that does not count toward the "found-slot." (Don't worry if that makes no sense to you. :D) Also, this will NOT be the only module we run for the event. Request any module of any level slot you would like to see run during this event! Or, even better, if you want to be a DM, create a game and ask for requests. :D WEEK1-4: The Icy Queen’s Crossing For level 1~4 (good for characters in any of the 4 levels, supports difficulty scaling.)
The PCs are asked by a minor Cormyrian noble--who is studying the Creel tribe of the nation of Narfell and who married one of that tribe’s warriors--to seek out her husband. The warrior was sent into an area in the Giantspire Mountains, between the nations of Narfell and Damara, by the tribe’s leader Argalath. The area is considered taboo by the tribe, and it contains a crossing between this world and a realm in the Feywild ruled by Kunin Gatar, known as the Icy Queen. Event Schedule: Date: Nov 8, 2009 Single Location @ Citi Center Sign-Up Here: http://www.rpgconnec t.org/event_RPGA.php ?event_id=500012 For players who can’t make Saturday but can make Sunday! (yah we’re so thoughtful. :D) Though since it’s day two, the demand for WEEK1-4 may not be so high, so we might end up running more of the other modules like QUES1-1? 10:00 am ~ 12:00 pm @ Citi Center 2-hr Speed run! For players who are that good? Open slot for any module. We can even start at 9am if people can wake up early. 12:30 pm ~ 4:30 pm @ Citi Center DM: Leor Unknown Module, WEEK1-4 or another mod depending on request.
5:00 pm ~ 9:00 pm @ Citi Center DM: WalK Open slot as well. Basic Conflict Resolution - As a courtesy, players who are playing WEEK1-4 for the first time will get priority over the others. - DMs for the event will get priority over the rest. - Regular RSVP priority system will be used otherwise.

Whether you're new and want to know more, an experienced player looking for a regular game, a DM on the look out for new players, or you just fancy playing a fun one-shot adventure on a Saturday afternoon, this meetup will be place to be?! Expect to come and play from noon to 5pm. We'll teach you everything you need to know and supply all the dice etc. All you need to bring is imagination! Rules for the meetup: The location needs us out by 5PM and to clean up and put blue tarps back on the tables. RSVP METHOD for individual games There are several games being offered by different DMs at this meetup. If you'd like to see all the individual games being offered by DMs Please visit this website http:/rpgconnect.org and you can either Post a game or RSVP to a game. The games are listed in the "Upcoming Games" page. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN ANY GAME that's why they're posted there. Usually the level 1 games are easier for beginners since the characters are simpler.

Intro: Come and play Dungeons and Dragons 4th edition in the Living Forgotten Realms RPGA campaign. If you have never played in the LFR RPGA campaign, please see this link for more info on organized play and how you can join. NEW WAY TO RSVP I think the rpgconnect website works better and more efficiently than this website. It's custom made to handle our RPGA events. I'll transfer over the RPGA RSVP points I have right now if you keep your username somewhat similar. On the site you can find the RPGA events in the "Upcoming Events" section or this one is linked here http://rpgconnect.or g/event_RPGA.php?eve nt_id=500005 1 Login 2 Create list of your characters on My Account page 3 Create a list of adventures you've played and never want to play again 4 Join waiting list for event 5 Join a game listed 6 or choose to DM a game for the event 7 It is not First Come First Served 8 RSVP points determine your seating priority 9 You start out with 5 RSVP points 10 you get 5 every time you DM 11 you can only RSVP for a game that you have a character in the valid level range for 12 If the game becomes full and someone with higher RSVP points joins that game, the system will try to push you into another valid game, taking into account your characters and your list of games you never wish to play again 13 The event itself has a RSVP cutoff time, usually a day before the event, no one can join the event after that. 14 After the RSVP cutoff time people already in the event can shuffle around tables, and DMs can offer new games, this shuffling stops an hour before the event
