Introduction
The release of 4th Edition remembered me of time wasted as a youth and pulled me back in.
How long have you been playing D&D? or new to D&D? What edition do you prefer to play? 4th ed., 3.5, other?
since 1984, but stopped in the early 90's
What's your Favorite Book? (D&D related or not)

How often would you prefer to play? monthly, weekly, daily, at night, on weekends
weekly to monthly, prefer weeknights
What's your favorite class to play? Wizards, Fighters, Rogues, Priests etc.
I can play them all. Not so much paladins, clerics, unless they are twisted :)
Have you ever been the Dungeon Master? Would you like to be a Dungeon Master?
yes, I've been a DM all the time. My only problem is that on weekends I usually go hiking, snowboarding etc.

House rule: Increasing crit damage for monsters
"I find critical hits from monsters boring. They don't scare players, because they only max the damage, which is something that can happen with a lucky die roll even without a crit...."

"I don't think it will ever be a good idea to "secede" from meetup.com There have been many attempts to organize D&D groups for strangers. Nothing works better than meetup, because their reach and branding is almost impossible to beat...."

Cleaning Miniatures Ideas/Advice
"the minis (plastic and paint) are very sturdy. I think they can even withstand a round in the dishwasher with no harm. I've put minis in boiling water for correcting bent parts - a common procedure...."
