Since I was 12 when I picked up 3rd edition. As we played more we moved on to Castles and Crusades. I now run an an irregular Barbarians of Lemuria campaigns for my friends. Personally I'm more a fan of the Retro-Clones and earlier, simpler rule-sets (Basic/Expert and OD&D).
Tough to say - for poetry, Illuminations by Rimbaud. For literary novels- The Stranger or A Hundred Years of Solitude. For awesome genre stuff - Conan.
I'd love to play weekly, preferably Sundays, but I'm open to most times as long as it's after 3:00 PM on weekdays.
Fighters, rogues, and all manner of non-magical badasses. If playing with expanded classes this includes Barbarians and Assassins.
I've always been the DM for my group so I'm really keen on being a player for a while.
Post-graduate guy working on getting his teaching certification. I've been a nerd all my life and my interests include gaming, film, poetry, music, literature, and all-around manly-things.
