Brand new to D&D. I have been reading through the 3.5 Player's Handbook and DM Manual to familiarize myself with the game, but I could just as easily start learning any other version.
Ready Player One is my most recent favorite.
Several times a week would be ideal, especially during the summer months. My work schedule is very flexible, so weekday games can be just as easy to schedule as night time or weekend.
Typically in video game RPGs, I play a wizard or wizard-analogue. Something magical. I've been thinking about making my first D&D character a rogue, though, just to shake things up.
I have not, but would love to at some point, once I've become more familiar with the game.
I'm an actor and a teacher here in NYC, living in Queens. I've played video games on a level somewhere between casual and GAMER for years, and RPGs have always been my favorites. I'm really excited to start playing D&D to experience the original RPG.
