Introduction

HI, I'm Josh, or mneme. I roleplay a lot, but mostly other games than D&D (and most of my friends aren't too hot on D&D), so I figured this would give me a new outlet for folks that -are- in to D&D

How long have you been playing D&D? or new to D&D? What edition do you prefer to play? 4th ed., 3.5, other?

I've been a roleplayer (starting with D&D, but branching out a lot) since '86, skipped 2e entirely for non-D&D games, played a bit of 3.5, and am interested enough in 4.0 that I'm playing D&D again! (so 4e)

What's your Favorite Book? (D&D related or not)

Bridge of Birds. Or maybe The Forgetten Beasts of Eld

How often would you prefer to play? monthly, weekly, daily, at night, on weekends

Occasionally. I'm a member of the harried social class.

What's your favorite class to play? Wizards, Fighters, Rogues, Priests etc.

Everything's good in 4e. I favor wizards and rogues (and similar classes) in earlier editions.

Have you ever been the Dungeon Master? Would you like to be a Dungeon Master?

I've GM'ed a fair bit, but never DMed D&D. Could, but I have more fun on the player's side.

    Do RPGA Cards Ruin the Game? Can We Make it an Extra Incentive System?

    "DM: indeed. I like the cards -- though as said, in combat they can make things too easy, they're actually a pretty clever mechanic for pushing teamwork (and not -every- card is a "Desperate Spell")...."
