Introduction
I'm a gamer without a gaming group, and I really need to get my fix.
How long have you been playing D&D? or new to D&D? What edition do you prefer to play? 4th ed., 3.5, other?
Started with a re-release of classic in 4th grade (Zanzer's dungeon!), moved immediately to ADnD 2nd, followed to 3.0 and 3.5. Have yet to try 4.0. Actually not crazy about DnD-- I usually prefer White Wolf games, Shadowrun, or obscure stuff
What's your Favorite Book? (D&D related or not)
Favorite book is too narrow. Favorite sci-fi authors are Phillip K Dick and Dan Simmons, favorite fantasy author is George RR Martin.
How often would you prefer to play? monthly, weekly, daily, at night, on weekends
Weekly. Evenings. Or weekend during the day.
What's your favorite class to play? Wizards, Fighters, Rogues, Priests etc.
Any and all of the above. Frankly, I enjoy gestalt rules where I can choose two classes at once, makes things much more interesting and intricate imo.
Have you ever been the Dungeon Master? Would you like to be a Dungeon Master?
Yes, in high school I ran a homespun campaign that stretched from level 1 to level 21 in DnD 3.0. Currently, I would prefer to play, but given time to prepare (I'm not a fan of most pre-made adventures) I'm willing to DM.
