How long have you played disc golf?

I've played disc catcher-based disc golf (with disc golf discs) for 3 years and object-oriented disc golf (with regular discs) intermittently for 20 or so.

What local courses within 50 miles of NYC have you played? Which would you like to play?

I've played the courses at FDR (love!), Campgaw, Rutgers, Liberty Corner, Chimney Rock, Brakewell Steel, Field of Dreams and Mt. Kisco. I've also played other courses while travelling, and was thwarted by crowds the one time I tried Prospect Park.

Which are your "go to" discs for driving? Mid-range? Putting?

Aerobie Arrow for putting - - nice, heavy, predictable. Buzz (#1 choice) or Goblin (#2 choice) for mid-range I seem to get the best drives with the Ching Velocity, but unfortunately just lost one on the side of Campgaw Mountain.

Howdy -- My name is Dan Ogden, and I'm a born/raised New Yorker. You'll find me at least one day most weekends playing at a local course with the lovely and talented Mrs. Ogden and/or my son, if not solo. My mission: I want to grow the sport.
