I am an Electrical Engineer but I love making Electronic music, mostly Hip Hop, Dubstep and Latin styles. I found that its kind of hard to find people to collaborate with, so I decided to start this group.
Are you interested in learning how to make Electronic Music OR collaborating with other individuals who already make Electronic Music? This group is intended for individuals who compose music or would like to learn how to get started entirely for the love of it (not for money making purposes). If you love making music weather it be Trip Hop, Hip Hop, Electro, Dubstep, Downtempo, Jungle, Dance, House, Reggae, Dance Hall Grime, Indie, Latin, etc. or if you are interested in dropping some vocals or Rap to a cool beat or rhythm, This is definitely for you. No matter what DAW you use (Pro tools, Logic, Reason, Fruity loops, etc) this is the place.
We will be having meetups every now and then to share our creations and exchange tips. We will also be holding meetups for beginners who would like to learn how to get started making Electronic music. Ill post cool events on our group calendar, but please offer suggestions if you think an event might be of interest to the group.
Share your artistic creation, collaborate with others, get tips or offer suggestions to others. I visualize getting to a point where we have enough compositions going to maybe feature them at a Electronic Music Makers Party or Event. That would be awesome!!!
You don't have to be a PRO. As long as you do it because you truly love it.
Purely for the love of music and artistic expression.
Make sure you upload your creations to the files section of this group so people can listen to your stuff and get to know your style.
You must ask permission and give credit, to whoever the original composer is, if you use their creation for your own music or if you play it at a club or something.
