Evolution is one of the most beautiful and profound insights into the universe our species has had, and it is to be joyously celebrated and observed: "Wonderful Life", as Steven Jay Gould said. The panoply of life is as wondrous a thing to observe for itself--rather than indulging in cosmic egocentrism--as the gas pillars in the Eagle Nebula. Creation seen *as it is* is love of the universe; Creation projected as an anthropomorphic self-reflection is fear and hate of the universe, not love.

Caveat: Creationism and its recent alias, ID, is no more science than is perpetual motion, the four humors, or flat-earth geocentricism.
