1304 Beverley Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11226 (map)

I changed the date and time to Sunday, February 05, 2012 at 3:30 AM
I just put up a date. Is that good for anyone? Feel free to change it.
Right. PM of course. If the 5th is a no go for most of us then let's pick a new one. And of course, we need a place to develop, no? If there's a TV there, it isn't hard to watch the super bowl while developing. It only needs to be pitch black for a few minutes. All in favor?
Hi..I am the guy who suggested the Kodak Film wake...but had not suggested a date, as I was offering my place for the meetup..I should know the date...Who likes Feb. 5th for the meetup? and of course there is a TV there for the game, but we can be done and develop film durring or before the game...what do you folks think?
I changed the location from 1304 Beverly Pl to 1304 Beverley Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11226
We have a confirmed date and location...and Vincent will be helping with a demo of film developing, I will demo loading 35 mm film in a developing tank...and after we will have some food, view our developed film, and those that want can either watch the Super Bowl,
or shoot some more film...
Of course we have a TV and there will be food! a menu will be printed soon, but it will be great...stay tuned..
I keep missing these events. It's Superbowl Sunday, so I won't be able to make this one. Enjoy!
Hi Beatriz..we have a TV, and we can watch the Super Bowl, and we are having a great spread from Shelsky's (best smoked salmon ever)...Here is what to expect on Sunday...A demo of b&w developing, talk about photography, future trips, like a seal watch on a party boat, eat the salmon, sable, and lots of other goodies, maybe buy a pizza at our excellent Brooklyn pizza place, and maybe watch the Super Bowl.
Can you tell me by train how to get to you? I will be coming from the upper west side and am close to the 1,2,3,C.
Thanks.
Hi.. you take change to a Q train where ever you like, Atlantic is good if you are on the 2 or 3...and then get off at Beverley Road...make a left as you hit the street, go 2 blocks and you are there...(check that the Q is running normal.) If it is not, I can make other suggestions...
Thanks for the invite, Andy. It sounds very cool. I am going to a Superbowl party in BK, but I'm not sure if it's close. If I can swing it, I will.
Here is a photo of location...taken on our only snowstorm of this year...http://www.pixeet.com/pano/TE62ZWZX![]()
I removed the location. It was 1304 Beverley Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11226
I would love to meet with everyone but unfortunately I am out of town this weekend do to business. Have fun!
Sorry Jeremy, here is the menu, what you will be missing:Rich and Smoky Gaspe Nova, Whole Filleted White Fish, Sable, and Fatty Kippered (Hot Smoked) Salmon beautifully arranged on platters with
Capers, Lemons and Sliced Red Onion. Comes with assorted Bagels and Bialys, Scallion and Plain Cream Cheese. And for Beth, we will save leftovers...everyone else, try an bring a roll of tri-x, exposed, or you can shoot some off here, we will develop, talk about apps, maybe watch some football game..
Wow! that sounds really good Andy. I made a developing guide, I will give you all the link later. I am hoping to take pictures of the process that I can put into that chart. And if anyone wants to develop something besides Tri-X, we might be able to get something to work.
There's a Flickr event in Manhattan tomorrow that you might be interested in http://www.meetup.com/flickr/New-York-NY/595432/![]()
