Volunteer early in the morning for the Tour de Queens before riding -- FOR FREE -- a family-friendly, 20-mile tour through Queens neighborhoods, to see just how unique each corner of the borough is and how, amazingly, each connects to the next.
6:30AM - 8:30 AM: Check-In/Registration
Volunteers will check riders in for the tour at Astoria Park and direct riders to the start location.
7:00AM - 2:00PM: Riding Marshals
Riding marshals help keep our riders safe and help them with basic mechanical problems like flat tires and slipped chains. Also, marshals must be prepared to assist the tour by corking traffic at intersections closed by NYPD.
8:00AM - 11AM: Rest Stop Aides
The rest stop crew feeds our hungry and thirsty riders at Juniper Valley Park.
