A support group open to anyone who wishes to recover their — and their family's — health using the most powerful body and mind healing protocol there is.
What is GAPS?
GAPS (Gut and Psychology/ Physiology Syndrome) establishes a connection between the functions of the digestive system and the health of the body, including the brain.
GAPS was developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride based on her own clinical experience after her child was diagnosed with a learning disability and, consecutively, with hundreds of patients in her UK clinic.
Campbell McBride is a doctor of medicine with postgraduate degrees in both neurology and human nutrition. Her first book, Gut and Psychology Syndrome, was published in 2004. Since then, thousands of people around the world have adopted the GAPS healing protocol with — many say — miraculous results.
Who is GAPS for?
Because of Dr. Natasha’s experience, it was parents of children with learning disabilities — autism, dyspraxia, A.D.D., dyslexia, A.D.H.D., etc. — who first implemented the protocol. However GAPS targets the roots of all illness and therefore, the possibilities of application are virtually endless.
People have used GAPS to heal from all kinds of chronic digestive illness, autoimmune issues, allergies, heart disease, mental disorders, skin conditions, hormonal malfunctions, and more.
If you are frustrated with your — or your family’s — health and you are losing hope in the treatment options available, then GAPS could be what you're looking for.
Why a GAPS support group?
GAPS is not a diet, but a whole lifestyle change that can be overwhelming at first. The support group will help you:
1. Learn GAPS and understand how it’s manifesting in your body.
2. Introduce changes wisely with the help of others who’ve been there already.
3. Stay focused and motivated in your journey to real health.
What happens in a GAPS support group meeting?
Every meeting there’s a GAPS lesson, as it is very important that you understand the ins and outs of the protocol. We’ll also have a GAPS dish to try or a new recipe. Finally, you’ll have the chance to ask your questions to the group, or to a practitioner if that’s appropriate.
Who runs the support group?
Andrea Ramirez, a health coach and certified GAPS practitioner.

Dr. Larissa Lempert, a neurologist and certified GAPS practitioner
