please, someone take my spot. had everything else checked off except Android device => 4.3 ... spent the morning trying to trick my crappy HTC into climbing that greasy OS pole, but alas, to no avail.

An android device with version>=4.3 is an inherent prerequisite to this lab, as the developer wearable preview cannot be installed on less than 4.3.
I'll free up my spot then.

Hey Dario, Any set of development tools that would be required for the lab ? Might light to install before hand to save time.

    Cheers

Hi Mike, similar yes, many GDGs are holding a similar event - we're starting earlier at 6pm. There's no table space to accommodate teams, but I guess we can allow teams > 1 if they sit together. We're giving one prize per team (more than one category) that's why I prefer individuals vs teams but will allow if they can share the prize - still determining judging

    What time do doors open?
Is this similar to the event that was hosted on the west coast this weekend?
Is it team based? Will all team members win a prize or just one prize per team?
Who is on the judging panel?

If you are going to this meetup, sign up ASAP for the Android Wear Preview program. It took me a few days to be accepted. Do not expect to sign up and download everything the day of the meetup!
