Weekly Skylight1 Android projects group: Android Wear Tutorial

  • August 13, 2014 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This is a special hands-on coding group - but we'll be reviewing Android Wear basics and then dive into coding. All levels welcome but you must have already installed all the prerequisites!

This includes, Java, Android SDK Tools and Packages (Android API Level 20 including samples!) and Android Studio (or Eclipse if necessary).

The Android Wear Primer slides are available here for reference before the meeting: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1D5i9_ebEyktaov7o1xMxu7W_nWV14-4g1mZjUoW4Yn0

Although the skylight1 group is usually an invite only private group (https://plus.google.com/communities/110469567870467531425), these Android Wear tutorial meetings are open to all interested in Android Wear but unfortunately limited to a conference room capacity.

Note: these tutorial sessions are to prepare for the Android Wear Hackathon on Aug 23/24:

Note: this will be repeated again next Wednesday as well, Aug 20!
