Google Wave - Operational Transforms, Open Source, & Open Protocols
Joe Gregorio is a Developer Advocate for Google, member of the AtomPub
Workgroup and editor of the Atom Publishing Protocol. He has a deep
interest in web technologies, writing “The RESTFul Web” column for the
online O’Reilly publication XML.com, writing the first desktop
aggregator written in C#, and publishing various Python modules to
help in putting together RESTful web services. He works on both Google
App Engine and Google Wave.

6:30pm - Networking and Announcements: we will have refreshments and will ask for a donation at the door (to pay for the pizza) to obtain a door prize ticket (must be present at the end of the meeting to win)
7:00- Featured presentations followed by Q&A
we close the meeting with door prizes and adjourn at a local bar

Bernie KahnWhile the speaker was very knowledgeable,
and a good communicator, poor air quality in the room interfered with my appreciation for the talk, and some folks even left well before the end, complaining of headaches and the like. I'm familiar with the room in which this was held, but have no idea why it was so warm and stuffy.
The topic itself was interesting; more basic information in the presentation would have helped, such as explaining operational transformations.
The demo part was non-functional, and needs a lot more work.

Edward LozoverInteresting presentation from Joe (google federation). We had more questions than answers I think, but it did generated live discussion and I'm become very interested in the technology itself
