I enjoyed and learned a lot from everyone's opinion of the book from tonight's meetup.

Great conversation - on the book, what to know before you read a book, and society evolution.

I just joined the club. Is the next meeting only to be held on August 1?

A message to Vince. Greetings. Just picked up the book five minutes ago. Very short. Should finish by Sunday night. Also, very easy reading.

I only received the notice about A Single Man a week ago and was in Palm Springs most of that time. I'm going to read it anyway since it's been of interest to me for a long time. Hope I can finish the next one in time. Vince

I was just notified 6/25/14. I can't read the book in six days. I'm in the midst of finishing Authority by Jeff Vandermeer. This is the second book of The Southern Reach Trilogy. The whole series will be complete by September, and is highly recommended, even though it has no gay theme.

David -- you should have received the announcement of the book being read nearly a month ago. It sounds like the notification on 6/25 was a reminder.

Thanks for the tip on the book you're reading... sounds interesting!
