Let's hand out Food Not Fracking flyers at Symphony Space

They're hosting an event that will attract foodies. Just a 1 hour commitment, I'd think! More info here: Selected Shorts: In and Out of the Kitchen with Lucky Peach
Symphony Space, NYC
Wednesday, December 11

Foodies rejoice! Momofuku founder and chef David Chang, with co-editor Peter Meehan, introduce luscious tales from their quarterly journal Lucky Peach. Readings and commentary by David Cross (Arrested Development), chef Mario Batali, Greta Gerwig (Frances Ha), Gaby Hoffmann (Crystal Fairy, Sleepless in Seattle), and others. Featuring stories by Nelly Reifler and others.

Launched in 2011 by Chang, Meehan, and editor-in-chief Chris Ying, each issue of Lucky Peach explores a single topic through essays, art, photography, and recipes. More info >>>

Sounds like this went much better than at Ethical; which ended up not having a line at all because people were ushered upstairs upon arrival. We had our postcards out on the literature table but the crowd was a film crowd not a food crowd (it was a really fun event). I did collar Anthony Bordain for a second but he's going to need convincing. Said he doesn't want to be an activist. Thanks for braving the cold everybody and Martha for organizing it!

I had a conflicting meeting but I heard this went well and we were able to distribute materials to a good number of interested people. Thanks Martha! ~ @kgo81

Hi. Who would I need to ask for when I get there? Is this to lucky peach or symphony?

I will be there around 5:40 and stay until about 6:30.

Hi, Marianne. The actual paid event at Symphony Space doesn't start until 7:30, so ticket holders might not start showing up until 6:30. Take good care! Martha
