Dinner with Strangers is exactly what you think it is. It's dinner.... with strangers! 

The next installment of Dinner with Strangers will take place at Sofia's Restaurant, which will feature Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks, an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & '30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. [Perhaps we should name this month's event Dancing with Strangers?]

The cost per person is $50. The price includes a four course meal, gratuity and tax. You are responsible for your own beverages. 

Upon arrival, make sure to tell the hostess that you're here for Maria's party. Come with an open mind and positive energy and meet new people! 

Some suggestions for your attendance:

• Bring cash, as you are responsible for your own eats/drinks. 
• Bring a friend! It certainly makes meeting new people much easier when you've got a wingman/woman on your side. 
• Dress the part! You're meeting new people at a nice restaurant. Leave the sneakers and t-shirts at home.

Janaury 31 isn't February! We realize February's Dinner With Strangers actually takes place on the last Tuesday in January, but our event sponsors are hosting this event on Tuesday, instead of Thursday, which would have made it actually February. February begins way too late in the week and January has one too many days. That said, February starts a day early this year.

Long story short: We're going to maximize the leap year.
