If you are into outdoors and movies then how can you say "No" to an event like this? :)
The Banff Mountain Film Festival is the largest and the most prestigious mountain festival in the world. The World Tour showcases award-winning films and audience favorites from approximately 300 films entered from over 35 countries with stops planned at 390 locations in all seven continents.
Exhilarating and thought provoking, this is a must-see for mountain enthusiasts and those with a spirit of adventure. Through the big screen, audiences can visit remote cultures and the world's last great wild places as well as experiencing footage of adrenaline packed action sports.
The film showings for Sunday and Tuesday are the same and so does the ones for Monday and Wednesday, we are planning to do the last 2 nights.
Last year I bought tickets as a group in advance and got some discount so will post in the group if we can get the same deal this year, I would suggest buying tickets in advance regardless as they do run out early.
Tickets, $23 in advance and $26 at the door. Groups of ten or more in advance at Symphony Space approx. $20.
