Master foundational parkour skills in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. Get ready to learn something new every week and apply it through creative activities and games. You’ll hone your ability to move with fluidity and grace, while getting stronger and expanding the way you see your environment. You’ll learn to use parkour building blocks (balancing, jumping, vaulting, climbing, swinging and crawling) to adapt to different situations and build the confidence you need to take your new skills to the streets. No parkour or athletic experience necessary. This class is ideal for complete beginners and long-time parkour students who’d like a refresher on the building blocks. Intermediates are also encouraged to sign up for Level 1.
Level 1 courses are not repetitive courses. The LEVEL of the course indicates the complexity of the movements that will be explored. Level 1 focuses on the execution of proper technique, building creativity and body strength, learning how to interact with your environment, safety maneuvers, and the introduction of power&speed.
Most students will stay at Level 1 for about 1 year before advancing to Level 2, where students begin to fully fold in power, speed, and strength with increasingly complex techniques & movement patterns.
There are only 2 levels; You can drop in on any course within or below your level.
