SWIM OPS! AT Greenwood Lake Day Hike: Mt Peter to Surprise Lake (12 Miles)

HOAGies Swimsuit Edition Hike.

Hike along a beautiful ridge of the Appalachian Trail overlooking Greenwood lake on the NY-NJ border.

Starting from the parking lot at the intersection of the Appalachian Trail & route 17A, we follow the Appalachian trail along Bellvale mountain. There are views of Greenwood Lake throughout.

This is a pretty easy hike, distance is around 12 miles.

We will start at the parking lot, head to Lake Surprise and come back to the parking lot.

After the hike we can take a stroll to the Creamery AND if we still have energy... a DRIVE-IN movie.
