“WOW is the word for Venice Diane. If it were possible to choose a favorite city in Italy, which is impossible. it would be Venice. I too am of Sicilian heritage but have never been to Palermo so I can not really compare Venice to so many other Italian cities, but still - oh wow!! While in Venice - St. Marks Square (pigeons all over me), the islands of Burano and Murano, mind you I was there for 3 1/2 days only, but truly Magical was the experience. Love to re-visit - big time! Jim”
