“ Need to limit invitees. Need to stick close to Tommy Sax and Sax Appeal. They are the only KJ's I have enjoyed in my 5 or 6 experiences with Meetup, so much so that I have gone to their shows without the group. I felt a very palpable anti-teetotaler flavor from this KJ. Also, I observed about 15 or 16 consecutive female singers, even though Steve, myself and other males had songs in. Sometimes you just get a sense of these things. Proof's management may never know, but this is the last time i will darken their doors, or recommend it to any friend. The personality and behavior of a KJ can determine for me forever whether I ever attend his or her event. This is why Dawn at the Punch Bowl won't run into me again. This is NY. We have choices. ”

“ The sound was terrible. But my standards in that area are high. They only had one speaker. And it was not a speaker I would ever use. But the hostess was terrific....very fair. I could see how hard she had to work, and yet still kept her smile and graciousness. I would recommend this event, if she is running it, to anyone. Unless your a sound snob like me. Lol....I got passed it because of the host and the general energy of the event. ”
