Join us on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. SHARP to hear Matt Pritchard speak on the topic of Seasteading: The New Frontier. The event will take place in the downstairs meeting room at VFW Post 4787 (Whitestone Community Post) located at 19-12 149th Street in Whitestone, New York 11357.
Admission is FREE but we do literally pass the hat for contributions.
If you are driving, there is plenty of free street parking. If you are coming by subway and bus, take the Q44 or Q20 bus to Parsons Blvd. & 20th Avenue, which will leave you two blocks away. Taking the 7 subway to Main Street is closer to the location than taking the subway to Jamaica.
Matt Pritchard is an Ambassador for the Seasteading Institute. He is an actor and a small business owner living in Astoria, Queens. He’s drawn to the prospect of introducing competition and the price system into the field of government, and enabling new forms of spontaneous social order.
"This idea has the potential to revolutionize the world. These are big ideas, and I want to be a part of implementing them. When Seasteads start becoming more productive than landed operations, I want to know that I had a hand in making that happen. I want to help spread what could be the next big idea, and launch what could be the most profitable industry in human history."
