January NYC Marketing Mixer Networking Happy Hour

Meet and network with marketing colleagues from a cross-section of industries, companies, and levels. Marketers from the following companies have attended in the past: Malibu-Kahlua, Procter & Gamble, Pepsi, NPD, Colgate Palmolive, Coty, L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and American Express.

This month's event will be on Monday, January 30th from 6:30-9:00pm at Gstaad (43 W 26th Street, between 6th and Broadway). We will be meeting in the main room at the bar.

We're going to try a few new things this time to make networking easier:

  1. We'll have nametags to make it easier to figure out who's part of the Meetup.
  2. You can write your Company, Role, or Industry on your nametag as well.
  3. Post a link to your LinkedIn profile in the comments of this Meetup event so others can learn more about your prior to the mixer.
  4. Check it to the NYC Marketing Mixer event on Foursquare when you arrive.
  5. In conjunction with the Foursquare event, we'll be partnering with Sonar to help you network better.  Sonar lets you know how you're connected to other people (through LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook) at the event who have checked in. So be sure to download the Sonar app and connect your LinkedIn profile to it.

Hopefully these new additions will make it easier to meet and connect with others at the networking event!
