Systema Russian Martial Arts

Join a study group of experienced systema practitioners.  Systema is a study of body structure, movement, breathing and various combat techniques. Through fun but tough exercises learn efficient movement and relaxation during intense physical situations. Learn unique ways of striking moving targets while moving yourself without giving indication to your opponent of what's coming.  Learn to fall, roll and generally adapt to a physical crisis situation to avoid injury. 

We had quite a few meetups in the past that were loosely defined and fun but now we are taking it to take it to next level by having a more defined curriculum. Every session will have core exercises to build proper body structure and fluidity of movement as well as application specific techniques in striking, standup grappling/clinch and on the ground. There will also be simple self defense moves that do not require strength to be able to get out of a tight spot.

Most important, the sessions are always fun.
