Now that people have OCaml installed and running from our last meetup, we can start learning the language itself. This meetup will consist of a talk introducing the OCaml language, followed by a hack-a-thon to use what you learn in the first part. In the talk, I will also discuss some of the features expected in the future release of OCaml 4.

Very informative introduction to OCaml and batteries - let's do some hacking next.

Great group of attendees. There were good questions that made giving the presentation enjoyable.

Good presentation. Wasn't expecting it to take 3 hours. Planning to come again, though.

I scheduled this meetup for May 10. Based on responses, there is a slight preference for a talk but with many people also wanting a hack-a-thon. Thus, we can start a bit early, at 6:30 PM. I'll give a talk first, and then people who want to stay and hack can do so.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
