Moroccan Evening with Belly Dancers and Live Music

Dear friends,

Step out of the hustle and bustle of the city and into Morocco with Yara and Siris, or at the very least the closest you will get to Morocco without hauling ass to the other side of the Francophone world. Enjoy Arabesque exotic to all of your senses happy hour specials, a great belly dancing performance with the princesses of the blue light, queens of our craziest parties, and featuring live music with Rachid Halilal. Try the hookahs to further add to the fun and relaxing atmosphere, make connections of all kinds, it's time to fully connect with our meetup community !

Don't hurry up to snag a seat at this lush and luxurious lounge since the Moorish room in the back will be for us. No fancy hustle early bird like "pay admission now, pay less" as there is no cover at all to pay, yet (only) you are responsible of your own expenses (2 drinks minimum) in this magical venue.

Rachid Halihal :

http://www.rachidhalihalmusic.com/

As a world-class musician, Rachid Halihal brings to the community the true character and spirit of musics from the classical Egyptian repertoire which is much loved throughout the Middle East; from the Fertile Crescent; from diverse regions of Morocco and North Africa; and also the mezmerizing music of the Arabian Gulf.

In addition to his voice, which is best featured in the Andalus style, his strongest instruments are the oud (similar to a lute without frets) and the violin, which he plays in both the classical manner and upright resting on the knee for Moroccan folkloric music.
