Astoria Ditmas Blvd - End of the N, W Line (map)
Hello everyone!
Thanks to everyone that came out to Flushings, the photos are a great collection of the things we saw and I apologize once again, for having to bail out on you guys early. I promise this next time I will not bail on you guys.
Our next adventure takes us back to Queens but in a rather closer and cozier environment... yet, it's just as worldly - Astoria!
A little bit of urban photography will take us to Astoria in order to enjoy the sights of this world within New York. Lot's of bridges, parks and views of the city. Our unofficial guide to Astoria promises some tasty Greek food we'll even be able to hit the Socrates Sculpture park. For those of us more adventurous, our 'extended' outing will take us all throughout Astoria, to the Queensboro Bridge and into Manhattan!
Here's our rough route:

So who wants to experience Astoria-rrrrrific! ?
Let's meet at the end of the N, W Line
See you guys in June!
Saturday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few storms may be severe. High around 85F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%. If you see lightning, turn off your camera and put it your bag, do the same with your tripod.
i agree. i'd like to attend but might not b/c of the weather. oh, we need the umbrella hats...
Jenny, I checked the MTA website and both are scheduled to run. The N is running local between Canal and 59th st in Brooklyn
Well, yahoo weather downgraded rain warning to 40% and Gus said he will do a rain-be-gone dance tonight so it won't rain. See you all tomorrow.
