Roosevelt Island visit

Hello everyone,
I hope you're staying warm and that you're all prepped and ready to go for thanksgiving.

I thought perhaps a post-thanksgiving outing could get everyone's blood flowing and would allow us to enjoy the city after Black Friday madness and the parade.

One of the first spots we went as a
Group some years ago was Roosevelt Island and it turned out to be a fun, photo filled day and a "first" for many of those of you who went. Well , the island has changed quite a bit since we last visited it and I wanted to plan our next outing to go and visit it! FDR Park has been finished and now graces the southern tip of the island where before only a grassy area existed.

How about we meet on the benches outside the Tram station on Roosevelt island?

You can take the F Train to the island, the subway leaves you about a block north of the tran station OR you can take the tram at 60th and 2nd Ave. the closest subway to that is the 59th Street station for the 4,5,6,N,Q and R.

Hope to see you there!
Gus

Only the F train or the Tram. Not sure where you live but the F connects with the J at Essex and the F connects with the E throughout North Queens

Mrs Dillworth begrudging released me to attend due to the early nature of the event. I am to report home immediately after because we have a house full of people coming for Hanukkah. If you guys eat anything good after the walk I will be upset

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
