South Street Sea Port and the heart of Chinatown

Hello everyone,

Since I missed the last outing, I wanted to organize a quick, no frills meet up for this weekend. It's kind of last minute but it's at the tail end of the weekend so I hope so of you can join me.

I'm looking to walk from South Ferry Station over to South Street Sea Port and from there, continue under the Brooklyn bridge to the heart of Chinatown. I have a tasty, favorite place for dinner that will make your weekend complete.

The beauty of this walk: From Park to Wall Street to Sea Port to Chinatown and all along the water!

We are going to be right on time for some lovely dusk photos of the Brooklyn Skyline.

Hope you can make it!

Gus

I always enjoy exploring parts of NYC I've never seen, eating good food (yummy shrimp), and socializing with a great group of people. Thanks Gus!

An expanding experience - being with this meetup group. Who knew about the recent beautiful recovery of southern and eastern piers? Or, the incredible "Noodletown" restaurant? Gus take the pulse of NYC and gets us to its vivid places. Great camaraderie and plenty of good jokes too.

Another great meetup. It's not just the always well-planned photo opportunities and tasty meal that invariably follows; this is simply a wonderful group of people to hang out with. Thanks again, Gus.

By far, the best photography meetup I have attended. Professionally organized by Gus.

We have a contingent of 5 or 6 people; 8:05pm walking under Manhattan Bridge. Main group, what's your checkpoint?

Ok, we're officially giving up on SSSP. Walking north along the water, shooting the BB.

Sorry I'm going to be late (due to subway station problems on F line). I'm going to go, and see if I contact you mobile-y (is that a word?) and meet up with you. Will check on my smartphone from Whitehall Street subway station. Thank you.
