I just wanted to share with you a quick note somebody from WPO sent my way about a photography event going on in NYC.
The message below was from the WPO team:
Come and join us tomorrow (Oct 26th) for an exciting conversation between Elisabeth Biondi (Curator of the 2011 SWPA exhibition and former visual editor of the New Yorker) and Alejandro Chaskielberg, (Sony World Photography Awards 2011's overall winner), at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York!
Documentary photography: How it has changed and what it is today? What is the difference between documentary photography and art photography?
They will also discuss Alejandro's prize winning projects, his award, his book & exhibition and how it all came about. Alejandro will tell us how he lived with the people on the island to get his amazing pictures; about his most recent assignment in Africa.
This event is FREE to attend but RSVP is a must!
Please RSVP your name today to [address removed].
6.00 — 7.30 pm
