Google Hangout - Protecting Your Gear In Bad Weather

  • Jan 11, 2014 · 10:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

This meet up will take place on Google Hangout.  It is our goal to capture the event to be seen on Youtube. In the event you cannot make it, you will be able to view the Hangout on Youtube. A link will be published after the hang out is completed, if possible.
In this meet up, we will discuss how to protect your photography equipment from the elements. The techniques and secrets shared can be used with any manufacturer, Canon, Nikon, Leica, Olympus, Sony, etc.

We will also answer your questions.  We'd like to keep the questions to this specific topic, so please try to think of your questions in advance.

To join this meetup simply RSVP. We will contact you and send you a Google Circle request to your GMAIL account. You MUST have a GMAIL account to participate in this Google Hangout. Please DO NOT wait until the day of the meetup to establish yourself with Google & Google Hangouts. We WILL NOT offer tech support for your Google Hangout within 24 hours before the meetup date of 01-11-14.

This is a first come first serve meetup. We are limited to 10 active participants.  You ARE NOT GUARANTEED a spot in the Hangout simply by RSVP'ing. Please consider meeting up with friends so that many can fit into each spot. For instance, several people can go to one person's place to participate in one of the 10 spots.

Please make sure you use a headset with mic. Not hang a headset with mic can cause feedback. If you are the cause of feedback, we will ask you to mute your mic. You will still be able to hear and see what we are discussing during the Google Hangout.

I don't have a gmail account but would love to be able to view the youtube video afterward. Would that be possible?

We are efforting it. GMAIL is free. We plan on doing a number of these. So getting a GMAIL account for this would be a valuable investment. I encourage it. :)
