Hello meetup members,
We just received an invitation to a couple of affordable photography lectures held in the MET. Have fun!
Dear Photographer friends
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you a special lecture series at The Metropolitan Museum of Art beginning Friday, November 9th at 6:00 pm.
Jeff L. Rosenheim, Curator in Charge leads this fascinating two part lecture series, Beginnings: Photography. In the world of art, certain names conjure up iconic images, and major works have instant recognition. This series examines the first photographs by six modern masters of the medium. How did the artists launch their careers? What did they do with the camera? Might the seeds of their achievement be visible in their earliest work?
