NYC Worldwide KIP Day & It is our 4th Birthday!

Knitty City is once again hosting New York's participation in worldwide knit in public day.

We will be meeting (along with about 200 other knitters/crocheters who come individually or in groups) on the terrace at Bryant Park to celebrate our craft.

It makes for a fun afternoon. There are some refreshments available from park vendors or bring your own. Amy will also be bringing festive cookies to celebrate PnPs 4th birthday!

It's a good day to pay/renew your dues.  ALL proceeds go to the group.  Dues pay for goodies, prizes, and gifts.  You can pay cash in person to Amy or use the "pay dues" button on our site.

Sally was asking just how extensive the "Worldwide" aspect of this event was. Here is a link to their official site. The lower right hand portion of home page lists 45 countries which are hosting events. Not bad.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
