Not sure if it's related, but I also had my credit card information stolen recently. I order a ton of stuff online, though, including KnitPicks, so I can't be sure if that's what it was. But definitely something to consider. My password has been changed. Thanks for the tip!

Just wanted to give a head's up for anyone who has purchased anything from KnitPicks in the past 2-3 years. They had a major security breech where customer information was compromised, and they've been terrible about telling people.
Bank of America called me because someone tried to charge several $1 purchases and a hotel room in Arkansas on my card. Thankfully they flagged immediately and sent a new card. I know several knitters across the country who have
purchased from KnitPicks in the past few years and have found themselves battling fraudulent charges on their cards in the past 2 months. Supposedly the company mailed letters in February to those impacted, but I don't know of anyone who received one. I didn't. I don't order many things online, and I haven't heard of any issues with Amazon or the Gap, so I'm pretty sure my issue was KnitPicks.
If you have ordered anything from KP in the past 3 years, I would urge you to check your statements for suspicious activity.
