Strategies and Techniques for Learning BIM (Chicago)

This is a special live webinar broadcast of the Chicago BIM-IPD Group. Our windy city colleagues have offered to share their next meeting with the NYC Revit Users Group.

The details...

Group members Marc Teer, AIA and Brad Beck, NCARB have each opened their own companies focusing on teaching Revit and other BIM programs.

Teer and Breck will each provide insights and tips on how to teach and learn key BIM processes and techniques. Four main topics will be addressed by each in short, 5-minute presentations followed by open discussion.

The topics will be:

- Teaching Executives BIM Basics
- Introducing the Project Team to Proper Revit Workflow
- Empowering Project Managers to Get the Most out of the Model
- Digital Coordination with Consultants and Contractors

Using examples from their course work and project experience, Teer and Beck will help you understand how to move yourself or your company forward in the ever evolving world of BIM tools and technologies.

Teer is leading the AIA Chicago Technology in Architectural Practice Community and has an office in the new Merchandise Mart technology center. Beck worked on the Canadian museum featured in Randy Duetsch's book for 3.5 years and is AutoDesk Professional Certified.

Join us to gain different insights on the ways to teach BIM and add your own tips into the mix.
