NYC Stroke Survivors Meetup

This group was started to bring together fellow stroke survivors participating in ongoing recovery efforts--whether they be for physical aspects, like difficulty with arm and/or leg movements, cognitive function, aphasia, vision problems vestibular problems, etc.

The group will often speakers on relevant topics like new research for stroke survivors and news through the grapevine on things like good doctors in the area, but overall it will provide tips on things it will provide social support and the chance to do fun things like go out for a bite or a movie, etc. afterwards!

"I haven't had a stroke, but six months ago my mom had a massive one and suffers from global apashia. I want to connect with other people who have parents or loved ones suffering from apashia, or whom have it themselves. I need guidance."
