I realize that drinking anything with caffeine in the evening would make me a good candidate for watching late, late night tv...hope you have tastings during the day.
Yuliya, I have paid but cannot go, so please take my spot. A gift to you. Enjoy!
Thanks Sally,I really wanted to come, but I feel that I have to stay home and study tonight.maybe someone else wants to go instead.
I do not feel up to attending tonight. Everyone enjoy :)
Hi Chris, I've joined the conversation late, so I didn't really understand how shall I pay for the event. Is it upon arrival or there is a way to pay online?
Please use the "pay now" link above to pay in advance. Alternatively you could bring cash
Are they really planning to serve us tea in paper cups?
0 · February 25, 2014
Sorry, I can only provide paper cups but you are welcome to bring your own! This event isn't at a tea house - it's self organized at a larger venue. Unfortunately I don't have 50 glasses or the time to clean them all. Look forward to seeing you!

You can't really expect an office building to have mugs for 60 people.
How are we going to make tea for 60? Does not look like a couple teapots could help it.
I can bring 6-8 Chinese tec cups plus 1-2 (cheap) gaiwans, if requested, but that's all. Is it going to help?
Thanks for the offer! We should be ok, but you can bring them if you'd prefer
$30 electric ice tea makers can yield a quart of tea per minute at 180°F
I now a major biz event taking place around same time. So it doesn't look like I'll be able to attend. Changing from Yes to No.
Hi Chris - My last class ends at 7, is it okay to arrive late? Could I bring dinner along? Thanks

No problem. Sure, we are able to bring food to this venue.
Thanks for the reply, but I have some workload for this week... sadly I won't be able to go.

Hi Chris, I was wondering is all of these teas are caffeinated? Thanks
0 · February 21, 2014
Yes, all of the teas have some caffeine. The white tea will have less than the others

Loved the last tasting and looking forward to this one.

Hi Chris, I will be bringing one or two friends. Is this ok?
Guests are welcome
Hi Chris, As you know I signed up for Wed 2/26 as "just me", but I would like to bring a friend/coworker with me, would that be possible? Thanks
here's an idea... if the meetup hq room is free already, then make it like a "pot luck" tea event, where attendees bring tea leaf favorites and their tea apparatus and vessels for others to sample.

A excellent idea! I have the Breville BTM800XL tea maker and a stash of different teas.
That Breville looks great. Sure, you are welcome to bring your own tea to share! I didn't make the event an official potluck because I don't want to burden everyone with the requirement of finding something to bring.
1 · January 22, 2014
Somebody had mentioned it making this a potluck, so in that case I am able to bring my humble electric kettle and a small selection of loose leaf teas. However, the selection already on offer sounds really nice, so I'll leave my stuff at home :)

If we ever plan a potluck, I use my french press or my Teavana steeping vessel, both of which are small and easy to transport. My favorite old fashioined German Ceramic pot is too cumbersome to include.
Will be out of town. Will try to catch up next meetup.
Those teas sound awesome, my portion has already been paid :-)
By the way, it is not required to use Paypal to pay. One can use a credit card without involving Paypal.
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
