Harney & Sons has offered to host us at their spacious SOHO store! Join us for an evening of talk & tea.
Ticket price includes the following 5 teas. Gratuity is included. You can pay through paypal with your RSVP or email me if you'd prefer an alternate payment method.
Black: Paris - "Fruity black tea with vanilla and caramel flavors, and a hint of lemony Bergamot"
Assam: Mangalam Broken 2013 - "2013 was the best Assam season in years. We love the brisk yet slightly sweet flavors and good body"
Oolong: Li Shan - This is one of Taiwan’s highest mountain teas. The tea plants must battle cold (sometimes even snow) and frequent mists. This makes a haunting brew with echoes of honey and cream.
Green: Sencha Scent of the Mountains - This tea is a hit. It is one of the most popular teas at our store in SoHo. People love the delicous and distinctive aromas. You will too!
White: Chinese Silver Needle - widely considered the best white tea in the world. It is a beauty to regard with the fuzzy buds. The light brew is a subtle and slightly sweet delight.

I should have bought the chinese silver needle. It turns out that loose leaf has a big probability of having more antioxidants than the tea bags I'm drinking. I'm going to have to go back there.

Also, check out T-drunk, the store chosen for our inaugural meetup. The quality of their white teas is exemplary.

Excellent event. Never has there been a more knowledgable host than the one at Harney & Sons. I learned so much. And the store was beautiful and spacious. Would love to attend future events here.
Thanks for organizing, Chris!

Great seeing everyone! Special thanks to Ryan for the photos!
Had a great time. I love the white tea which is the chinese silver needle. Least favorite was the mangalam broken. Cya guys again next time.
A nice intro to tea
I thought that it/started at 730. Forget me...I won't make it....
Also running late on my way!
I'll likely run 10-15 minutes behind. Is that OK?
Not a problem. See you then
I am new to this group. Do we just meet inside or do we meet outside before going in? Do we have a table or reservations or something? Thanks for the info.

Hi Ryan, you can meet us inside the shop. Just look for the group with nametags. Shouldn't be hard to find. See you then
Really wish I could go to this but I have a conflicting appointment. I hope the event is repeated and that I'll get another opportunity!
I'll definitely try to schedule another one!
Would love to go but I have plans, I wonder if you guys will have another meetup here?

Yes. I can't make it either, but definitely want to see this place.
Hi Chris, I might have a work conflict this day. Is it possible to get a refund if I have to cancel my spot?

Additional notes: If requested I can refund ticket price minus the paypal fee.
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
