Tea Tasting & Instruction at Radiance Tea House and Books

Radiance Tea House and Books is one of my favorite tea spots in Midtown! Join us for socializing, tea instruction, and a taste of 5 different varities.

Ticket price includes the tea varieties below, instruction, tax & tip. Other food & drink can be purchased at additional cost (They have awesome dumplings & mochi!). You can pay through paypal with your RSVP or email me if you'd prefer an alternate payment method.

Featured Teas:

Green Tea: Long Jing (Dragon Well) - The most famous of all Chinese green teas. This tea is made of the youngest buds and leaves. Dragon Well is known for its "four uniques" - its flat blade-like shape, jade liquor, chestnut flavor, and lingering sweetness.

Oolong: Tie Guan Yin - This cousin of the China varietal produces a roasty flavor with a lingering sweetness.

Black: Royal Keemun - Considered to be one of the worlds three best black teas, this tea has a full bodied flavor with a hint of spice. A classic.

White: Silver Needle - One of the most sought after teas in the world, our Silver Needle uses only the best and youngest hand-picked young buds producing an ultra smooth cup with a refreshing melon sweetness. White teas are known to help body detox, are anti-inflammatory, and are extremely rich in antioxidants.

Herbal Tea: Apricot Honey Bush

What exactly is "tea instruction"? I do understand the "tasting" part. :-)

They offered to teach us a bit about tea and the differences between the varieties we'll be trying.

Chris, I would like to bring a guest, but the site won't let me pay for a guest. It kees telling me that i have to agree to the retyrn policy, bit doesn't present it. What should I do?

I'm glad you booked the place I mentioned. . I see that there is a no refund policy. I would like to attend but can't make a commitment now to absolutely attend. Any chance of paying at the door?
