This is a group of motivated, knowledgeable people, willing to share their time and expertise. What more could you want?

You get a good range of people, from tech newbies to more advanced folks, but everyone is interested in working on good socially conscious projects.

This can be a great forum to share knowledge between those, like me, who work with not-for-profits to design and build on the web, and those who work at not-for-profits. It won't be a one-way transfer of knowledge, because developers like me are always learning from the diversity of initiatives and ideas out in the world.

If people are interested in expanding their networks to like minded others this is definitely a great concept.

If your looking to share thoughts, ideas and get support from other Techies this is your oportunity to do it. It's very casual and informal and therefore no one is judging you and it just makes for a more comfortable setting. Besides you can learn so much from other people working in your industry.

There was a lot of experience in the room, and a real willingness to share. This group is particularly helpful if you work in the nonprofit world.

Can't wait to see what comes up next time! Here is that anonymity tool I mentioned (http://www.torproject.org), and the Opera web browser, available for the Nintendo Wii (http://www.opera.com/products/devices/nintendo).
