In this presentation, Jason Kneen will explain how to use Titanium's Alloy Styles, the new Dynamic Styles and Jason's recently released Dynamic TSS Widget. Alloy styles are part of the View component in the Titanium Alloy MVC architecture, and are used in a manner analogous to CSS usage with HTML.

Note: Jason will be joining us remotely via a video conference.

As usual, we will set aside time during the meeting for members to provide lightning talks (5-10 min), short announcements or requests for assistance which are relevant to the group. Everyone is encouraged to consider providing a lightning talk to show off some cool new creation, a useful tool or technique, etc.

Agenda:

• Organizer Announcements

• Main presentation

• Lightning talks, announcements, call for assistance, etc.

Good content. Some tech challenges with remote presenter. Webex is not wonderful.

Jason, thanks for a wonderful presentation and putting up with our less than optimal teleconference - still working to improve that. You did a great job providing an overview of Alloy, some details on styles and dynamic styles, and then your own experience with creating dynamic styling prior to official support and subsequently using the Alloy based dynamic styling. I especially enjoyed learning about the technique for walking the control hierarchy. There must be some trouble I can get into using that ;-).

Thanks Jason for sharing some really innovative, practical and late night (for you) approaches to dynamic styling! Looking forward to trying out your widget... And as always, thanks to John for organizing and continuing to improve these meet ups!

Really wanted to make this one. But had to cancel at the last moment. It would be great if you could actually post the video of the presentation.

    See you guys next time.
