Remember the 2nd Anniversary of Troy Davis's Death

On September 21, 2011, Troy Davis was put to death by the State of Georgia. On the eve of the second anniversary of Troy's execution, the Davis family, Amnesty International USA, NAACP, Equal Justice USA and Haymarket Books invite you to join the Davis family and Jen Marlowe at St. Mary's in Harlem, where the community came together two years ago in the hope that Troy's life would be spared.

We will reflect on Troy's legacy, celebrate the remarkable success that the movement to end the death penalty has achieved, and launch the book "I Am Troy Davis", co-authored by Jen Marlowe and Troy's sister Martina Davis-Correia, with the participation of Troy himself.

Participants include:
Kimberly Davis, Troy's sister
Jen Marlowe, author
Yusef Salaam
Lawrence Hayes
Eve Ensler
and Emcee Thenjiwe McHarris (AIUSA)
